Office 365 - Lync/Skype is the only program available for installation

Problem: When logging into Office 365, if you are only given the option to install Lync and no other Microsoft Office products, please check your Office 365 license.

  • To do this, first log into Atlas

  • Hover your cursor over the O365/EMAIL icon in the upper right hand corner and click O365 Email from the sub-menu

  • Click the Settings button in the top right hand corner (the one that looks like a gear) then click Office 365 settings in the sub-menu


  • On the lower left hand side of the page you should see a section labeled 'Software Install and manage software as shown below

A new browser window will open and present you with the current Office 365 licenses that are assigned to your account and the devices that have Office 365 activated. 



  • If your screen does not look like the screenshot above and is missing the Install the latest version of Office section, please send an email to with a screenshot of the Assigned Licenses section.
