During the Oracle J-Initator installation I got a blank window that does not go away. Why is this?

If you encounter a blank screen while installing JInitiator, contact the Help Desk and request they install JInitiator on your desktop and give you ""Administrator"" rights to your machine. This is generally encountered by new employees who have been setup on that machine.

If it is a transferred workstation, it needs to be reimaged prior to reassigning the administrative rights which will avoid a host of issues for the client and the workstation.
